U will need the part number from the "hook" to verifiy it's correct for 71 RR. Do not have the part number handy at the moment, Ask the seller what the # is on the hook and post it here. Someone will verifiy if it's correct or not.

I agree, you'd need the part number to know for sure. FWIW, the ORIGINAL hook on my RR's jack is green. If this one is the correct part number I think it's been incorrectly restored. I think all the '71 hooks were green. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

I found a good, restored jack. Everything had been repainted. The guy who I bought it from showed me pix of before and after. I think the hook was green because this hook I bought that came with the whole assy. was and is green. If nowone post the P/N, I'll take a look and post it. I did check the # on the hook before I bought it and the parts book said it was for the '71 RR/Sat.

Yea, they were green, but not always the same color. Of the collection of correct 71 jacks I have, there are at least 3 different colors, and 2 different stamping styles for the Pentastar. I really should go dig them up and post a pic of them all side by side.

I've also seen a couple originals in gray....same color as the base. AND one with no part number at all (from an original rubber bumper car)....otherwise it looked the same

This may or may not help, but here is the jack on my low mileage 71 Sat.
1971 Satellite Sebring Plus - EV2 / V1W / P6XW Not very nice but it is still wearing original paint and hose clamps!!

Looking at that ebay jack again, it clearly is not the correct hook. It's shorter, doesn't round back at the top and only has one large rivet/post instead of two....
