I tried to bid on one the last time he had them on but was out bid,the problem I have is they might not be nos.He might be making these. He tells the same story.I do like them better then the repops to.I purchased one from someone else.I just have to paint it.

If they are not NOS then someone is doing an excellent job. I compared the ones I bought to an original and there is no difference. That leads me to believe they are truly unpainted NOS pieces. If he came across a coffee can of them he must have a crap load of them. NOS parts show up in the strangest places, I bought a bunch of NOS mopar stuff from a GM guy, He told me he got the stuff from an attic that he cleaned out for someone. Finding NOS mopar parts is like fishing, the more lines you put out, the better chance you have of catching something.

I have followed this item for awhile. It seems he put 4 out to bid on eBay every so often.
The first four who bid their $30 get one. If someone bids $31 at the last min the person who last bid $30 gets dropped off but the early bidders at $30 still get it. Thats what happened to me. I bid early and there were more then 4 bidders so the highest bidder got one and on down the line.
After I got mine I saw one auction where he did not get 4 bidders so every one got it for $30.
Keep you eye out for them and bid early.
Does this make sense?
If he had a coffee can full of the raw items he may not have many left. I have seen him auction sets of 4 about four or five time. He may still have another 10 or more if it was a large can of coffee. LOL

Here's my attempt at painting mine. Purple may be too dark and the white a little sloppy at the edges. but on the car looks damn good.
