Hi,

Does anyone know what the prices were for a Satellite sebring 383HP and a Roadrunner 383HP when new in 1971?

I have a 71 Satellite Sebring Plus, 383-2 console shift automatic. And the original sales invoice shows that the price paid was $4561.10 on 8-28-1971
1971 Satellite Sebring Plus - EV2 / V1W / P6XW Not very nice but it is still wearing original paint and hose clamps!! :)

SSP - $2428.70 (wholesale) $2980.00 (factory retail) $3179.00 (MSRP)

road runner - $2403.44 (wholesale) $2949.00 (factory retail) $3147.00 (MSRP)

Thanks guys,

this is good to know when you want to register an imported used car to Denmark, Europe!
They calculate the registration tax based on the original sales price and if they don't know the base price, they just guess.....and they're really bad at guessing!
