Post by roelbest » Sat Jan 20, 2007 10:54 am

Hi, I am also new and must say it is a great site you guys have!
I live in the UK and have a '72 440 4speed Export car. This car was sold new in Germany to a serviceman and then came over to the UK in '73.
It unrestored.

Welcome to the nest , Why does it have Texas Plates? Looks like the grill is not a roadrunner grill 8)

Welcome to the Nest, and SWEET car! Are those Minilights on there? Any more pics? I'd LOVE to see a side image of the car with those wheels, it looks COOL!

Thanks for the kind words, yes, I have just added the Texas plates to drive the car on the road, it actually has proper english plates. ( the US plates confuses the people here!)
Also, the grill is a '71 grill, but I have found the proper restored '72 grill, I am keeping it safe..
Minilights came with the car when I bought it, but I also have the original rally wheels
I'll add some more pics later, thanks
