Are we seeing a revival of the steelies?
Re: Carlisle Pictures?
The steel wheels on the survivor where the original wheels on the car. I've always liked the look...maybe everyone else is finally catching upnathan buckley wrote:Are we seeing a revival of the steelies?

Re: Carlisle Pictures?
Back in the day a lot of the dealerships ordered their performance cars in with steelie wheels. They knew that the new owners when they got some money ahead. We're going to go down and put some custom mag wheels on the cars. So they didn't want the added expense of the deluxe wheels. One dealership I heard of in the mid west ordered their muscle cars with no radios in the cars. For the same reason.
