Manual steering pitman arm

Post by 71Beeper » Mon Jan 24, 2011 1:35 pm

I'm going to be converting my power steering over to manual.
Anyone know where I can find a pitman arm for a manual box for B-body?
Or a part number I can reference?
Thanks.

Thanks for the links Dan.
I noticed on the E-bay listing that it said that thier pitman arm fits both manual & power steering cars.
If that's true then the existing one that's on my car should work.
I gotta look into this a bit more...

I switched my 76 Runner over to manual - I like the feel of it. Plus the weight reduction up front.
The power steering box and pump & lines weight about 75 lbs. A manual box....15 lbs.
You should see the greasy mess that's under the car right now due to a power steering pump or line leak.
I do have the bigger diameter Tuff wheel for it (I think it was made by Grant) as well, that does help alot.
