Power Steering Bracket Assembly

Hey guys, can someone locate me a diagram of the power steering brackets and assembly on a Big block. I have a pump and brackets but never put them in before and dont have a great reference of pics.
I see in pics how part of it gets mounted to the waterpump housing but not sure if I have all the correct peices.
I did install a new alum Mopar housing, idk I may have screwed myself on that...
I read a bit , guess the bracketsd are different- wish they would have told me...any of you have those problems?

Should be the same brackets as used for the original cast-iron housing. I'm running the MP housing with factory brackets.

Curious, the different shape of the front bracket. Appears the 1/2" square hole used to assist tension adjustment has been relocated. Some aftermarket sources indicate a different bracket set for cars with A/C and another set for without A/C. The 72' factory parts cat. does show numbers for two sets of P/S brackets, "early" & "late"(no date specified), no mention of A/C. The bracket I'm running(pictured above) I believe to be original to my BB A/C Satellite Sebring with a production date in Feb 72'. You must have the "late" bracket set.
Something else I noticed about your P/S pump pictures, although the pump cores were pretty much the same, there are two different part numbers for the pump reservoir, one for small block app and one for the big blocks. While comparing parts from my donor cars, big and small block, I noticed the return line tube nipple is bent more upward or vertical (like yours) on the small block, the pump is mounted lower in relation to the steering gear than is the big block pump location, the big block reservoir return tube exits the reservoir more horizontal and is a more direct run to the steering gear nipple.

My Road Runner had a June 20 production date which makes it pretty "LATE" in the model year. So late that the casting #s on the block, although it was cast in May 1972, were 1973 production numbers. Being a one owner "survivor" I can state with absolute certainty the power steering bracket and pump is the one that came on the car. I am still amazed that the pump is still working perfectly with no problems or leaks after 38 years. Knock on wood on that one!

I did find during the restoration period (2003-2006) I would often find parts and pieces that were supposedly for an earlier car than mine. But I also found two other build sheets, in addition to the one for my car, when I was taking the seats out. I'm pretty sure the right front bucket seat put in at the factory was from a different car as it had a Satellite Sebring Plus build sheet in it. The other build sheet I found in the rear seat (near the one for my car) came from a Satellite Sebring also, but not the "Plus" version.

"Back in the day" car production was a lot less automated, a lot more hands on human involvement so I guess that's why the "oddities" happen. On the up side it does add "uniqueness" & "personalities" to the car. Mine, according to Galen's registry mine is one of 453 440 A/T cars built. Based on what I have seen with other VIN numbers, it was very near the end of the '72 model year production run.

BTW, the original seal kit for that pump is still available through Mopar dealers, or it was two years ago. IIRC, same old part number and relatively inexpensive. Pretty easy rebuild as well.
