Nah - no windows in this garage. Both cost and security related. Plus, I really don't have a need for everybody outside to see what I have in my shop.

Besides, I have electric service in the garage, therefore the lighting issue can easily be solved. :)

No truss delivery today - hopefully tomorrow!

If you look closely in some of the pictures, there are quite a few trees on my property. With that many trees, why bother with the expense of a urinal? ;)

Update today - the trusses are here, but so is the rain. If it clears up enough today should have them up and the OSB on - and tomorrow the roof should be shingled. I'll be able to start moving some stuff into the new shop on Sunday possibly!

Dave that looks sweet! 2 more days and I'm back behind the wheel of the beast. I can't wait to see if we transformed her beastly behavior to that of a tiger that roars we'll see.

Well, rain didn't let up enough yesterday for any progress. However, a pretty day today, and look what I have! :D

Going to get some shingles on tomorrow, and should finish that up on Monday. Get that done, and the doors in, and I'll be able to start moving in!

Oh, and there are more pics from today in the Flickr set too...

Great process!

I remember the days when our new garage was up in commission for the birds, then the fun my father and I had moving in the parts and accessories.

With the exception of the installation of the man door, we are dried in! Roofing is done, and our favorite SunroofGTX was here today to do my garage door install. I'll have pic's uploaded later after I get back from my volleyball game.

Almost there! :D

Yea, time got away from me after my game on Tuesday, and yesterday I worked from the time I got home from the office until way too late getting the old electrical service physically inside the garage (not the final install, just inside out of the weather), the floor cleaned and then doing a 2nd coat of sealer before I start moving stuff in today.

In the pics, you'll note that the Pentastar flag has already been flown. :)

Today is the big move out of the PODS unit. It has to be outta here on Tuesday, and we are forecast a rainy weekend, so I'm taking today off work and getting the stuff into the garage while it's decent weather. It's not going to be the final placement of most of the stuff since I don't have the pallet racking that I'm going to use across the back of the garage yet, but we can get stuff organized better later.

Most importantly, last night was the final night that Project Blue Bird will have to sit outside. Tonight she sleeps in her new home!
