the fenner tag it say e44 318 d34 727tran

if was a slant six on the tag with be e24 d31 904 tran

and the vin number matches the fender tag on that car, its a misprint. The C is really a g

the vin RH23G2G207941 on the fenner tagRH23G2G207941

If the car originally came with the slant, did maMopar put a 727 tranny with it? I've never seen one

Why do people spend so much money on a clone when for the money they spent on the restoration they could of got the real thing?
its a nice car but people will always say its a clone.(At least people who know).

Wow, that's the steepest price I've ever seen for a clone. That must be a custom mixed lemon twist because I've never seen it look like sassy grass.

If your gonna clone something do it right and if your so called restoring it do it right. Don't just throw some paint on it and a 440 in it and call it a day and expect to get more $$ then an original car in the same shape.

It's not a clone if it not like an orginal in every way. The only way you should be able to identify a clone is by the vin.. Not by looking at it from 100 feet away.

Lemons and Limes mixed up...musta put the data plate and VIN in the blender too!

Looks awesome though.......BTW...call me sick, but I'd like to see a hopped up slant six version!

Well now that I looked at the vin more closely, I believe it to have been a 318 car.

A H code car would not have a slant.

they have good torque so with a few mods slant 6's go pretty good. Add to that a 3 speed and some good gears. There are alot of after market mods for them.

Would you be willing to sell your Offy?

I do plan on hopping up the slant in my Satellite, I got to be different!

If you want to split some hairs it has a 1970 E-body only Slapstick shifter and console top plate in it. I know, I have the one out of my '70 Challenger that I'm going to put into my Sat-O-Lite, after I find a set of bucket seats for it.

I like the car a lot. I wouldn't kick it out of my garage, but then again, I would pay close to $40k for it either.
