Safety Reminder

Post by patrick » Mon Aug 04, 2008 9:44 am

Just a reminder to check your work area before you do any work. Also, a nice open clear area around the car is best. Never know if your leg will get tangled in a shop light or anything else.

We recently had a decent-sized earthquake and I ensured I rocked my car (which is on jack stands) before going under it.

Also last night I had hosed off the garage opening because I noticed some stains from who knows what. I then proceeded to install my new radiator and while trying to avoid damaging any fins, I had to endure the pain of ants biting at my leg. I eventually lifted the radiator up and out as carefully but as rapidly as possible, found a suitable location to stand it up, and then proceeded to do the ant dance and rinse off my leg. This morning it is still itchy and swollen where I was bitten. The stuff I'll endure so my precious Mopar doesn't get hurt, LOL.

Anyway, just a stupid reminder to be smart.

When hanging parts.pictures,signs.
Make sure they are hung up correctly and will not fall off.

After a day of hanging stuff,a closed my bay door and 20% of the stuff i had hung on my walls fell to the floor.
