Voltage limiter
I am putting my gauges together and wanted to replace the Voltage limiter,is anybody making an electronic conversion or do I have to get the parts and solder them myself? I thought Dave or someone else had a site that was doing this.any help appreciated.

There are some postings here from last year that contain the info you seek. Since that time I have completed my own limiter mod. Was able to fit the 7805 and caps inside the original limiter housing. I pop riveted the 7805 to the inside of the housing, using the housing and the cluster as my heat sink.

yes you can get them from those places, but I want to upgrade to newer electronics, also you dont have to worry about a voltage spike damaging your gauges.

The company is Real Time Engineering. They do a lot of mopar dash stuff. The limiters are solid state, MUCH better than original.

limiter
Has anyone used the Real Time Engineering Limiters? Any trouble with putting one in? They advertise that it is a replacement for Mopar P/N 2258413. I think the P/N is 2985707 for the 71 B-bodies. Just wanted to get it clearified.
