Best Sheet Metal

Post by 73'BIRD » Mon Apr 25, 2016 9:21 am

I had a body guy out (cause Im not too good at body work) and he said my Roadrunner should get new quarter panels. Which company makes the best sheet metal for a 73 Roadrunner?

AMD, Problem is they don't make quarters for a 73. None of the others do either so depending on how bad they are your only option is to find nos or use the patch panels for the badly rusted out sections.

True, AMD doesn't sell full quarters for the 73-4 Satellites, but they are now offering the lower patch panel behind the rear wheels. Talked to them last week, I think the price quoted was 159.00 each plus shipping. Thinking about ordering a pair myself.
For my 73, I got luckly and found a NOS one less than 5 miles from my house. I just asked around, talked to a few local Mopar guys and one guy had one.

Not yet. Look around for nos, 73 is more available than 71-2. I seen a set of nos 71's and the asking price was $1100 per side back before the repos came out. Contact Jack's and see if he can help you source them. I remember years ago he had a set at one of the swap meets he attends.
