Hello all, AMD (autometaldirect.com) now has a picture on their site of a
'71 RR rear valace with cut-outs. I guess this means they will be available soon too :beer:

Are the 72 rear valance the same as the 71 rear valances,i know theres different rear bumpers.

no they are not the same
you can use a 71 valance on 72 but you need 71 bumper

or 72 valance on 71but you need 72 bumper :shock: :beer:

it shows 300 each for half (front lower or rear lower) that go over arch, or the full quarter is almost 700

I'm thinking of getting this valence. Even though my RR has the turn down tail pipes. I like the look of the "machine gun" tail pipes, just like my dad had on his SSP back in the day :D

There was a prototype AMD 71 valance at the Nats....looked very nice!

I looked at that, if my memory serves me correctly they had them listed as follows, 71-72 without tips and 71 with tips. I'm guessing that they only make the 1971's. They must think the 71 and 72's without tips are the same. the price is not bad at all. I paid more than that for a non tip valance converted. I thought i was buying the real thing. I managed to beat it into submission in a couple hours, it will pass inspection now.

Does anyone know if they come with the brackets or do you have to use your own?
