So just to reiterate, all hoods from '71-'74 are interchangeable? There was a post a while back of a '73-'74 style hood on a '71-'72. Just curious. Seems weird since they have totally different front ends. Makes me wonder if I could put the fenders and nose from a '71-'72 on my '73. Hmm... I wouldn't, just hypothesizing.

Im pretty sure that was just the buldge cut out from a 73-74 put on a 71-72 hood.

By interchangeable do you mean will they physically fit or do you mean will everything line up? Fit yes, line up no.

TRUE! The front hood valance is flat 71-72 and contured on 73-74.

to add a 73-4 hood, you'd basically just cut out the middle - i've seen some 71-2s with a 73-4 hood just bolted on and nothing lines up right - looks pretty nasty...idk about changing the whole front end - it may be possible, but again, the body lines may not match right
