I thought I read somewhere (maybe here) about using cordoba power window regulators in road runner doors. Does anyone know if this will work? For the back if I cant find b body regulators I was thinking of trying them from a 2dr. newport, but I think that the b body p/w glass differs from the manual glass. Does any one know if this is right? Thanks.

I saw a universal ( and actually lighter than stock) kit for the PW but using the stock manual regulators. Well the tracks and sissors, but the lift section was added . It wasn't that goofy motor bolted onto the crank either. It was all self-contained inside the door.quarter

Damned if I can remember where, but it was only a year or two ago.

I believe the company that makes that kit is Electric Life....an internet search will probably find them...

I would like to keep it stock looking. I think if its not raining too hard tomorrow I will go to the bone yard and see what I can find. I might pickup a doba door just to see if that will work. I will worry about the rear later. I was thinking I could make it a coupe and put stationary rear quarter glass from a charger if that will fit. That would be the last resort or a tempory fix untill I find the parts I need. Does anyone have the part numbers for the 72 and maybe the 75 doba regulators? Is there a link for part numbers somewhere? Or do I have to cough up some cash for the part number cd's? Thanks in advance for the help.

I would check out the Electic life site. Their parts are the units I was thinking of. They have the complete set-up for $319 for each pair ( front and rear)- specifically made for our cars. Not universal like I thought. PLUS- you've got servicable pieces to work with should something break. Everything fits inside the door/quarter cavities so the only way anyone would know it isn't the stock ( and heavy) chrysler parts is by pulling the panels to actually look at them. The stock switches and everything else looks the same. I was thinking about converting mine to PW also- but like yourself, I couldn't bring myself to use those cheesy bolt-on motors. Plus it uses the parts already in the door- so no chasing the yards looking for used parts.

if you get me the part numbers, I will look up in my parts catalog (1973) to see if they are the same. Email me at racedodge@hotmail.com so I can check them for you.
