There is a place that rebuilds motors from any certain car-codes, dates are supposed to be right. It's the rebuilt motors and engines locator. The motor includes everything new, except valve covers, timing cover, intake, and oil pan. The price is $1237. Does that seem like a good deal, or is sticking with the 440 a better plan? Any feedback would be great.
Thanks

Stick with the big block i think you will be happier! You would also have to change the trany possibly the radiator and a bunch of little things.

I wouldn't think value wise a 318 car would benefit from having an original size engine (even #s matching wouldn't affect value that much IMHO). Go with the big block if that's what you want...unless you're really looking to make it stock appearing.

NO substitute for tire-fryin' cubic inches! Go with the 440...
