Hi guys. I have a 73 Sat. Sebring Plus and I just discovered that it has a a non-matching 73 P code (260 hp) engine. I've had the car for almost a year now and never checked the engine stamping (J400/7 30 2/ E HP). What a cool surprise.
Anyway, does anyone know of the production numbers for the P codes for that year? It would seem likely that there weren't too many of them made due to the focus on detuning, car insurance, gas prices, etc. Any info would be appreciated.

The only numbers I have are for 1973 RR's:
2,740 400 4v 1973 RR's made
749 4-speeds
1,991 autos
I don't know how many SSP or SS or Satellites had 400 4v engine option.

Thanks, Steve. It's been difficult trying to track down info about this topic and Satellites in general. I did find out the fender tag option number for the P code is E68. I'll keep looking. This is a great site.
