So when you repaint a car what do you do with the door tag? Its like a sticker as opposed to my previous cars which had plates. Also if your car is missing the original dash along with the vin tag that goes there is there anyone who makes reproduction ones?

there was a guy in colorado that will make a new "restoration" VIN tag for you. you need to supply him with documentation about the car, including a signed police affadavit.

I"ll try and remember to dig through my stuff, and see if I can find his name. I have a 2" thick folder of papers and receipts on my car.
