Guys - Is there only one wiring harness that runs along the drivers side rocker sill to the back of the car?
How many wires are there? And if someone can post a pic, I appreciate it.
Thanks.

Rear body harness? Connects to the dash harness at the driver’s side kick panel, six way Packard connector, runs back to the rear bumper harness connector(4-way Molex), with split off for fuel tank sender and un-switched power for optional trunk light.

Many Thanks for that info 72RoadRunnerGTX. The wiring schematic makes sense now.
I assume this is the 6 way Packard connector you mention.

But I also found this plug along with the 6 way connector. Any ideas?

The interesting thing is the other end of that 2 connector plug.....

Clean cut on the drivers side before the rear wheel housing.
Now when I bought this car it had a gear vendors overdrive unit in it that I had to give back to the previous owner. I don't remember if this 2 connector plug was part of that set-up.

Car had the rear seat speaker option, that's the wiring for it, has been cut off.

While I appreciate a vendor like M&H for supplying fairly accurate reproductions of original wiring harnesses, they can’t make every combination the factory used. There are factory variations in these harnesses from year to year and between Dodge and Plymouth. Haven’t seen much offered for model years after ’71, some may be the same for ’72-74, most others not. As accurate a reproduction as they are, they don’t address the design weaknesses of the original wiring. M&H’s exclusive reselling through Year One makes for a hefty investment without addressing some serious electrical issues with original designs. Keeping in mind nothing about these cars were designed to last more than 5 years or so, there are several types of terminals used where loads far excided their design specs. (ie. charging circuit Packard bulkhead connectors, ignition switch Molex connector). The undersized wiring used in several circuits to save production costs didn’t help ether.
Really isn’t too hard to rebuild the original, or decent used replacement original harnesses. Most cases can be done far less than a full M&H harness replacement.
