Road Runner Nest

I'm trying to sell my house and move, and the 71 SSP is still a basket case. I'd like to install the engine in the car w/o the transmission.

I'm not sure if the added rearward force/drop w/o the transmission and crossmember will harm anything.

Anyone do this before? Results? Opinions?

Run a strap under the oil pan, and around the torsion bars to hold the back end up where it should be.
