Road Runner Nest

I have a longer pistol grip that the non console cars used ,has anyone ever tried this in a console application ? I think the hump is more forward in the non console cars ,so this may place the shifter too far back ,pics would be great if someone has any .

Keep the shifter mechanism, and buy a short handle.

Also need different mount and rods too.
