What are the options available now for reproduction dashpads? Are the ones by Ultimate Rides, in El Paso the only game in town?

no they are not the only ones and i had two of them at my house and returned both and had trouble getting refunded, however in the end all i was out was about six weeks. i ended up buying one from carolina dash pad in ohio it cost a little more and was made to order so it took some more time however it was much nicer than either ultimate rides pad. that being said it still took a little work the foam was thicker in some spots than the original especially on the ends where it wrap around making it hard to tighten down also around the map light area and the area where the dash plaque mounts.

I can't find a website or contact info for Carolina Dash, are they still in business? Also, any idea on how much Just Dashes charges to recover a '71 B-body pad?

Joseph, who did you go with? $750 for your pad or did you have to pay a core fee? I imagine shipping has got to be at least $40 too huh?

We used Just Dashes and they did a great job. Check out the you tube vid on their website showing the process. I'll have to find what the shipping cost. We sent them our old used dash pad metal frame and that's what they used and built up with new foam and vinyl.
