I have a 68 roadrunner that am hoping I can put seats from a 70 Challenger in. Anyone have any experience with this or advise?

Not that particular swap, but know that just about any seat will go in any car. Just depends on the effort you want to put forth. As long as its flat floor to flat floor, shouldn't be too many issues. My second 71 Satellite had a a Minivan seat for the driver seat when I got it.

i'm running into that right now...
I know that b and e body seat frames from 71-74 are the same...give or take a few details... the sliders aren't. the e-body ones are an inch closer to the pan, but both floors are the same (from everything I've read).
now, for your swap, I think the pans are shaped differently, so you may need the '68 sliders to fit the '70 seats, or you may need spacers on your floorpan.

Thanks guys. One of my options are to recover my 68 backseat with the cover of a 69 Fury. Does anyone know if the backseat of the Fury is larger than that of a Roadrunner? I have Fury Buckets in my roadrunner and may recover them. Thanks

I'm pretty sure E-body and B-body seat tracks are different. Not sure if the lengths are the same, so you might have an issue bolting them in. The ones I've seen have thick washers welded to the bottom track to make up height differences in the floorpan. As for the seatback width between a B-body and C-body, I think that they are different in width. I've never seen covers that list B-body and C-body for fitment. I hope this helps. If you do end up having to add holes to your floorpan. be sure to add a reinforcement plate on the underside of the vehicle, Don't want any members or their families going out the window in an accident.
