I haven't looked at the reproduction ones, but I was told they weren't very good. If you can find a good original I guess you'd be better off. They are on ebay every now and then.

detroit muscle technologies sells them i think not sure of the quality but the other things i got from him were nice. however i agree with 71 bird if you can find or have an original that is not torn up it will clean up well with meguiars professional m40 mirror glaze vinyl and rubber cleaner/conditioner thats what i did twith my original and was very pleased it cleaned it really good and helped return it to a pliable condition so it is flexable and soft again.
Re: Hood to cowl seal for 71
Reason why I asked, I have a repro one already but its done wrong way, lip is backwards.
Hope there are correct ones available!

Re: Hood to cowl seal for 71
I was able to recently find a rad support seal in my local wrecking off of a mid seventies b-body station wagon and it fit perfectly. After I cleaned it up, I used tire foam on it and let it dry in the sun before installing it. Looks great. I have also seen the cowl seals on some of the mid to late 70s junkers which were in good shape, but since I already have on, didn't bother with them. Check your local wrecking yards, you never know!
