are you talking about the inner mouldings (plastic) or the outer chrome pieces?

you can buy a special tool that fits in the stainless trim and you can slide it along until you find the clips and seperate the trim from the clips. however locally i could not find this tool so i bought a set of small nylon prybars and used those to remove the trim. it worked pretty well since the nylon bars were softer than the trim, that helped me not to dent and bend anything also i used them to remove the drip rail moulding and it workked great for those also. the key is to take your time be careful and work with the parts dont force them.

Here's what the clips look like, but if your car is anything like mine it will not be that easy. Someone previously tried to fix leaks around the glass with several different types of sealant including black silicone and trim adhesive. I had to run fishing line between the clips to separate the trim from the sealant.
