Does anyone do aftermarket for a '72 Roadrunner? Both my bottles are good, but very stained etc. I guess the yellow label would not be reproduced at all?
Thanks :)

Good I was wondering about that decal. A previous owner ruined it with paint.

Also both bottles are reproduced, even the one for the heavy duty cooling.

I didn't know there were 2 different bottles for 72 . I have only seen 1 style.

Here is mine, factory HD cooling 72 RR. My friend said that they didn't reproduce these so I looked it up before I took it out in case it broke and I found a repro but it was pricey!

Does the Repo have the metal bracket riveted to it?

Yes the repro had the bracket riveted to it and the other bracket that it bolts to. I only found 1 place that had the correct style, but I can't remember who had it. I'm still looking.

Never found that particular bottle being reproduced anywhere, and I have searched for some time. Bottle and bracket pictured above I believe to be one year only and pretty scarce, couldn’t find a decent used one as well for a reasonable price, the ones I did find looked like crap. I’m running the more common reproduction available; it does fit but is not correct for 72’. I believe it is a later bracket and bottle design with the bracket mounting under the driver’s side radiator bolts.

I too am wanting to install a overflow bottle. It's rare to see one on a '71. I have a mitchell's part number service guide that lists two Diff.numbers for '71&'72.I have the repo W/the green cap that i need a mounting bracket for. What year did Chrysler start using the green cap?

Could you get this on a 71 with Hemi and 26 inch rad with power steering?

Will the reproduction bottle & bracket I’m running fit the 71’? Yes, don’t see why not, space and rad mount is the same. Could you get it on a 71' Hemi originally? No.

Currently running Ebay auction for the repo 73-74" E-body bottle.

Well Jimmy Boros replied very quickly and I have a decal on its way!!
I guess I am going to try and clean my bottles, they have no cracks, are just stained and yellow. Perhaps leave them in bleach for a few days and see how they clean up.
