Road Runner Nest

Bought a 72 new yorker hood release from inside the car and need a pic where the cable meets the actual mechanism -Just wanted to know where the loop assembly was mounted to-
Also the route in which it runs would also help

Couldnt find any pics in a search i did

Found this shot on ebay of the correct cable release latch. Cable is routed out along the inner fender with the forward lighting harness through the core support and looping down then up to the latch.

If security is a concern, don't forget the guard to block access to the release from the grille area.
