Anyone know of anybody who's installed a new style Hemi in their '71 or '72 Road Runner? I was thinking about it. But I want to know if there's more than meets the eye than just say changing the engine and transmission in the car. I've seen cars done in articles. But naturally they don't mention the headaches, or expense, involved in swapping to a new one. :help:

Mopar Performance was selling a newer style 5.7 / 6.1 liter Hemi with a carbureted intake. Than maybe no need for much wiring. But would still need some, ie, crank trigger to set off the spark, etc.

Engine, transmission, exhaust, fuel system.

It all adds up pretty quickly. Depending on how fast you want to go, budget 6-10 grand.

I think but not sure that you will need the gas pedal. I think they are electronic. I would get a complete parts car/truck to make sure you have everything you need.
