On my car the drivers side door switch for the domelight uses a 3prong connector while the pass one only uses a 2blade connector.WHY? What else does it control? None of the replacment switches are 3prong connectors only 2blade connectors. Does anyone have a spare or two thanks

Ok I restudied the wiring diagram and think I figured out that the drivers side doorjamb domelight switch also operates the key buzzer. Where can I get the proper switch at though?

yep...has to be the key buzzer - i may be wrong, but the switch may be the same as the e-body switch, which is reproduced

the only ones in the year one catalog and I checked some other places only the ones blade connectors. I'd rather not have to modify a new harness to make them work also most are to small. I have the large nut style.

3 PINS
1- key in buzzer & headlights on
2- time delay ign. lamp
3-dome light
it's a 70, 71, 72, 73 switch- most had the two prong one but if you had the options of the time delay you got the 3 pin one!!!
seen them on Darts, Chally, Cudas, b-bodies and c-bodies.
you have to find them a swap meets or scrap yards!!!
