Looking for original style wheels that accommodate more modern/wider tire sizes...
Hopefully along these lines (and woo, check that sweet Sebring out):

Those are 14" road wheels...
That's a sweet car. I believe it's the same one that a few years back made the rounds at the mopar shows in the survivor tent. I'd heard it was sold, but hadn't seen it resurface till now.
Still, that dealer is smoking crack if he thinks a SSP is worth $39K in today's market!!!

I was thinking there was crack smoking involved, but it's a gorgeous, incredible car!

Yup, that car was owned by a guy named Mike when it was making the rounds. Prior to owning that SSP, they owned Jeff Johnson's 72 Road Runner survivor (the black one). I remember the car well, as it's SPD is my wife's birthday, though a couple years early. Matter of fact, he had owned the car for a while before I saw it, and he had never had the fender tag decoded - so I did it for him, right off the top of my head. He was quite impressed, and I was a bit worried that I really did have so much of the white book memorized. Granted, the car is optioned pretty standardly for an SSP.
I wouldn't give 39K for that car - heck I don't think the Kaye Stevens car went for that much (it was around 25K?), but if the price was right, I'd be all about adding that SSP to the garage.
