Road Runner Nest

I am restoring a 71 RR. The rear quarters on my car have holes in them above the wheel well on both sides of the car. Were there factory emblems that went there? If so does somebody have any pictures of what they should look like so I know what to get?

Yes, there were emblems there. The cars that came with the roof strobe stripe did not have emblems, the ones without had "road runner" emblems over the rear wheel wells (you should have 4 holes on each side). Look through the images section and you should see some examples. I have a set of reproductions from Year One that I don't need if you're interested.

Yes, I have 4 holes on each side. My car is a canopy vinyl with no stripes car. I would be interested in them. You can email me the info if you like. I'll see if there is a PM option and send you my email.
