Hi guys, I am new here......been on Moparts forever though. I am buying a Y8 Gold Leaf Iredescent Satellite Sebring Plus that I am going to convert to a RoadRunner "recreation". The car is currently in primer with white interior, bucket seats with buddy seat. I am wanting to go back with the original Y8. Can you guys show me some pics of Y8's..........

Welcome to the Nest. Unfortunately, the Image Gallery has been down for awhile pending updates from Dave.
I believe I posted most if not all of my GT8 photos on your post over at Moparts.
let's see a few pics of your car!

Well here it is.......1971 Satellite Sebring Plus, Y8 Gold Leaf Iredescent, 318/ auto, factory A/C, bucket seats with buddy seat. Ok here is the interesting part, this is actually a paint booth that the car is sitting in and it has been sitting there since 1993......no joke. The newspaper on all the windshields have a date of 1992 on them. He was restoring this car and he just moved on to something else and its been sitting locked up in this booth since 1993. It probably hasn't seen daylight from the doors opening probably half a dozen times since then. The 318 was completely rebuilt in 92 and never ran, as was the transmission. There are no leaks under the car, thats a plus. All the hoses and everything still look new. The car is rust free, bumpers are in great shape (of course I was thinking about painting them body color when I paint it) he is also including a set of Rallies with the car. I think I got a bargain at $1500, how bout it? Did I or not? Oh yea, he is also giving me a Road Runner hood.

My buddy went with me as a ride along and he ended up buying a car too, he bought this 69 Satellite, 318/ 3 speed on the column, one owner, solid as a rock, fresh engine, new clutch.....same type deal as mine. This car sat in this guys basement for about 20 years. He was restoring it for himself. New windshield, 2 brand new bumpers still wrapped up, already jammed out, just needs primed and painted. He gave $2000 for this one. I had my choice of cars, but I chose the 71. That thrilled my buddy, he was dying for the 69 anyway.

There cant be too awful many miles on that. Engine looks really clean and it appears maybe has original hoses and clamps. Mine is original 42000 mile car and the engine doesnt look as good as yours.

I agree with everyone else, looks like you got a steal there. 71 B prices have been steadily going up and I'd think that is at least a $4K car as it sits!
Here's another gold 71 for ya
