Clutch washers?

Post by mopar71 » Mon Jun 04, 2007 11:06 am

Can someone tell me where these washers go? I have been looking in my chrysler books and dont see them.I have been putting my linkage together and just purchased a Z-bar bearing retainer clip which was missing, new seals and bearings. 8)

they're for your clutch rod. One goes at the point where you attach the clutch rod to the pedal, it goes on the clutch, then the bar, then put the clip on. The other goes at the other end where you connect the z-bar. Put the washer on first, then then the bar, then the clip. This way it's not metal on metal. Hope this helps.
