Seatbelt, key and light buzzer

I was wondering if anyone is familiar with the way the seatbelt/key in the ignition buzzer works and is wired.
I was looking at the schematics for a 74 model year, and I'm not positive they were the same as my 72.
Is there another control module other than the buzzer itself (which is on the right side of the dash)?
I have a couple of extra connectors on the right side of the steering column that look like they were once hooked to something, but aren't now.
The reason I ask is that the seatbelt warning light, and the key in the ignition buzzer don't seem to work (buzzer works if I feed power to it). In order to pass my safety inspection, everything must be in working order.
I read in the 74 chassis manual, that there is a "Seatbelt Interlock Control Unit" beside the steering column, and I'm wondering if that is what's missing on mine.
If I'm right, pictures of this unit would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
