Sorry if this is a stupid question, but are 71 and 72 doors the same for the RR and Sebring? My '72 has a fair bit of rust lower parts of the doors and I can possibly get a rustfree set of doors from a 71 Sebring to use for sheetmetal.
thanks !

Thanks Dave,
by the way, with removing the rust on your car at the rear wheels, did you use bits from a donor car or did you just welded new metal in.

I spent quite a few hours hand making all the new rear quarter pieces before I actually cut out the rusty parts. I took lots of measurements and then used a hammer and dolly on pieces I cut from an old 50's Ford (sorry for the dirty word) truck hood.

The lines in the hood were almost a perfect match for the body lines behind the rear wheels, so it gave me something to work with.

I'm fairly happy with the end results, but it sure would have been nice to have replacement quarters. That said, the drivers door was the worst part of the whole car. It had been completely caved in, and it was really hard to get the proper crown back in the skin. If I ever come across a better door, I'm going to buy it.
