Has anyone tried fitting the rear passenger window louvres from a Dodge Charger onto the Satellite/Roadrunners? I've been toying with the idea--I am putting a rear window louvre in the back window, from e-bay and featured here in another post--and I thought that it would look nice on the Plymouths.
Just another serious

question.
P.S. There are some e-body overhead consoles on e-bay right now--most need complete reconditioning and rewiring--but I was reading that a few here thought it worked well with the b-bodys.

The two outside pieces are different on a charger. You will have to use ones for a roadrunner.

i've really been thinking about adding the side window louvers from a charger as well, but i can never seem to find the 71-2 style, only the 73-4. and i think theoverhead consoles look good, but i don't have one

that's the predicament i'm in...lately i havent' seen a set, but i once saw a pair on ebay that were shaped like the 71-2 plymouths instead of the more squarish 73-4 type...but now that i can get em, i can't find the ones i'm looking for...dunno if the 73-4 type would work with some trimming or not...

they both look the same to me....besides, the 71-2 charger side window angles the opposite direction than the 71-2 Plymouth....

Okay, I'm not the greatest photoshopper, but I gimped the passenger window louvre landon1 (michael landon, I presume) posted here onto a 74Sat template just for grins.
I think it's good, but my wife thinks it's a bit much.

looks good...yup my gf thinks it's a little too much as well
actually, landon is my first name...not too popular in america, but it works
but ya iu've done several drawings nad even if i had to mold my own it would be worth it...make em out of fiberglass...hmmm...i know a guy from high school that used to mold stuff all the time for cars...mainly fancy stereo equipment

i just saw a 73 charger on ebay and it appears that the rear side windows are the same shape as a 71 satellite....however, it is not an SE, so if the side windows on an SE are different, the plan won't work...

If the women think it's a bit much, then it's probably right on the money!

Yeah. . .now that I look at it I don't think it works on the Plymouths as well as it does on the Chargers. It's a bit of an overkill. Worth a try though!

Anyone know of a good source for reproduction rear window louvers that will fit my '73 RR? I saw some for $1500 on E-bay and that's just a little bit steep for me. Is this my only option?

Damn - I SO want rear louvers for my Satty... And would be willing to explore sides too, although I have rolldowns so that'd be funky (but who cares).
A louver set for '71 went recently on ebay but I think the guy was vague on which B-Body it was for, so I begged off it.

i think the side window louvers fit the chargers better because its hell of alot more car,and doesnt have body lines as good as the plymouths . Perhaps done correctly you may be able to make them work,as for the back windows ones, they are awesome!
