How do you guys clean the orange inserts...
in the slotted exhaust tips? Mine get sorta sooty after a while, and don't look as good as they could. Thanks.
Re: How do you guys clean the orange inserts...
Orange cleaner (seriously) sprayed liberally through the slots and then a pyrex test tube brush fed through the slots and rubbed around removing the grime...
The test tube brush is like an over-grown pipe cleaner.

Aren't they supposed to be red or do they just get faded?

They seem to vary in color... especially on repops I would guess.

Buy several brushes... you'll ruin them on the slots.
