Post by wr » Mon Jun 27, 2005 3:47 pm

Hello fellows, I'm new to this board and hope to add some info and get some. This summer I'm going to paint my 1974 road runner. right now its red and looks too Dukes of Haz. Original was white, Bright white I think, I like that creamy white with orange or green accents, or some other mopar color like yellow or green, what do I call for, manyplaces can mix it in enamel if you know what it is, or where is a good supplier. Also where can I get RR decals and or templates to do the finish trim. Hey thanks. WR

I am not sure bout the paint but you could try www.performancecargraphics.com for the decals.
Every decal I got for my '72 was bought from there, good prices, great service. They have plenty of '74 decals there, check them out.

Many paint stores have paint chip books for older cars. Mopar paint codes can be mixed in just about any kind of paint. Look through the selections and see which ones you like best.

I know PPG has them, the code for my B1 sky blue, for instance, is 2424...

That white color is Spinnaker White (Data plate code = W1). Any of the paint maufacturers will be able to mix it up.
