Road Runner Nest

Hi

I am playing with the thought to upgrade my 72 RR GTX with a gearvendors unit. Did anyone here do this conversion before and can tell me what where the negative experiences wit the installation like hammering the tunnel, drilling the crossmember because of a new angle for the driveshaft etc. ? How long is the GV extension housing? I do have a 3" TTI system and can't cut or solder the exhaust system and am worried the GV won't fit because of the H-pipe.

A guy on Moparts did it on a 73,here is his installation! Hope this helps some.

I know, thank you! I just found out a few days ago that he lives 1.5hours from me (he lives now in Germany), I surely will visit him sometime to look at this runner! But I think 73&up RR are different than 71-72, that's why I try to find someone with a 71-72 RR body that did this GV OD project...
