Well, a nice thing happened today at the cruise in. The ex wife of the original owner got to see The Bird for the first time since Jan of 1974. She was 15, when he ordered it, and later they got married, the Bird was HIM, and it was his baby, he died two or three years ago. This is a window louver, and air grabber car with a bunch of other options, but since he had one leg shorter than the other he got it with just a 3 speed, so he wouldn't have to change as many gears. They dated, and got married, but she could never do the clutch thing, so he sold it to me in Jan of 74, and I was just 19 at the time, and after several wrecks, which the last one was in 1978, it had been parked on blocks till just this past Apr. when it moved under its own power for the first time since 78. So, she sees it , and comes over, and about starts crying, and I take her for her ride, her last being in 74. So, she gets to feel Hemi power, and starts to remember how he would sling her all over the bench seat that it had then, and all of the places they went. Her name is Libby, and I haven't see her since 74. Well, after I bought the car, I picked up a girl at a Mott The Hoople concert, and we start going steady, and her name is Libby also. Just kind of neat I thought
