new, from Canada
Hi, just registered after checking out the site for awhile. Snow almost gone so it's time to get to work on paint for my '72 ssp which I am turning into a RR clone as I would have ordered it new. so far it has gone from; 318/904/7 1/4 bench seat, column shift beige int on a formerly white ext.(poorly applied primer gray as bought for $450) Now has 440/727/8 3/4 buckets, ralley dash, console and slapstick shifter. The plan is B5 blue with a black 73 style stripe a.la Daisy Duke. Purist's will hate me but this car was as basic as you could get so I haven't wrecked a possible collector. Have a bunch of pics and if I can figure out how to post I'll throw some on here. That's enuff fer now.

Doin it your way
Welcome. Sounds like you've done a lot already. Lots of upgrades, keep up the good work and make the car YOU want.

Welcome to the Road Runner Nest! My friend has a 1972 RR blue with black interior and white strobe stripes. I will post an image for your inspiration. If you want to post a picture you need to find a online host for your image...I use photobucket. Then link the photo. I thought I wrote this procedure out in one of my earlier post...let me see if I can find it.
