Re: Accelerator cable removal
Anyone? I just dont want to end up breaking the plug because not sure if its repopped. There was a piece of metal, like a n=broken cotter pin, at the top that I removed. Then there's some tabs on the left and right of the block. I thought it needed to be squeezed together and that would release it but no. Am I on the right track?

Yes, they are reproduced, but in my case it came with the new throttle cable for my 6 BBL set up. So unfortunately I can't point you to where you might find them. Sorry!

Re: Accelerator cable removal
Just squeeze the tabs under the dash on the plastic while pushing out. Hardest part is getting under there and the proper tool. small pair of channel locks
