Car show today!

So, I decided last minute to go to a BBQ/car show this morning. My car is kind of rough around the edges. I washed it off, and went. We had three rain storms, but stayed until the end. I came in 3rd for mopars. Not bad considering my car looked the worse of the lot of ALL of them.first time I have taken The RR to a show. I haven't even put the cool wheels on it yet. Anyway, that my good news for the day. Lots of people checking it out. It was the only roadrunner there.

It was fun. I dont really care about winning a trophy, maybe if I had a 100 point show car. Ha! But it was cool showing the car to people, many of which, have never seen one, or haven't in a very long time. I heard this one couple, as they walked by my car, he told her that his buddy and him were pulled over once in south Dakota doing 145 in a RR. Funny.

I'm really not the picture type. My wife is, and she stayed home. So, no pics. I will get some soon, when i put the new wheels on.

It's funny, but the way these cars look, people stare like they are an exotic car or something. I guess cause they are rare.
