This was me and my first car (1970 Super Bee 383 4-speed).
Circa July 1982.
(I was 17 in this picture and had graduated High School just a few weeks earlier).
I worked at a restaurant washing dishes and bussing tables to save up the $1200.
I was so much younger and cars were so much cheaper back then.
I might have been 17 but I knew I LOVED MOPARS!

i didnt start buying cars for almost 10 years after you and even at that time they were affordable, its hard to believe you cant buy enough parts to fill a truck bed for what you could buy a driving car for at that time. i have sold nicer cars to junk yards than some of the stuff people try to sell now. anyway i like that 70 you had.1972RM23 wrote:This was me and my first car (1970 Super Bee 383 4-speed).

Yup, that was an 86 GLH turbo I bought when it was a year old. Fun car, but it had a ridiculous amount of wheel hop and torque steer.kenny wrote:is that a GLH omni eric? my first car was a 87 plymouth horizon the guys i went to school with called it the fish bowl. my second was a 73 duster my third was a 71 charger my fourth was an 85 daytona then i went gm for several, then import a few times, then ford once, and back to jeep and mopar.
