I have a 71 gtx 440 auto, complete"basket case",has typical quarters,no drive train, rust around the front windshield, the driver front floor is patched, all the frame rails are good, trunk pan good, inner finders are also good,I have a lot of parts to assemble car but from other sources,i would like to think its worthy of a resto, but I want more opinions ect.thanks for the add.

I guess it depends partly on if it is a rare optioned car. # matching AC/tape player, etc. How much you can do your self or are willing to spend. You can easily spend more to restore then you can sell it for when your done. Have fun!

Hi
New to the group. I just bought a 71 GTX sassy grass green with numbers matching engine trans. It is rust filled. It needs major work to it. I paid $5000.00 and would gladly have paid much more. It depends on how much you like the car. I personally love this body style more than any other. I wish you luck with it....
