'71 GTX on Powerblock

During powerblock on Spike Tv today the feature car was a Sassy Grass '71 GTX, w/sunroof! Great looking car.It was in the April 2012 MCG.Is it a members car? Gary '71 GTX

It should be repeated Tmrw.morning 4/29 on Spike Tv.I was impressed with the car and the fact is was a '71 GTX on National tv!

Yes, it is mine. Hope it was a decent show. Thanks for letting me know. I have been told for many months that it would be shown. I gave up. Figures, now that I left this morning (out of country) that it would finally air. I didn't set the DVR to record it. Maybe I will get to see it on a rerun!! Thanks for keeping my secret Eric! After the article in MCG, I figured everyone new all about the car.

Nice Car! I wish I could pay to have my car restored to that quality. I want to see before pictures!

It was a lot of hard work. Yes, plenty of coin was spent on this project (not so much with Troy as ALL the NOS and original parts bought). Troy did all the body work and paint along with some of the sub assemblies. I did some of the sub assemblies as well. It was easier to leave the car at his shop. Then for me to drive over and spend a day or two at a time installing parts. I have some photos of the car when it was bought out of the wrecking yard back in '93. Also have photos when I finally purchased it in 2004. Photos are on the other computer, so when I get a chance, I will post a few.
