Correct Ignition Coil and Voltage Reg.

Post by pats71 » Thu Jun 09, 2011 3:46 am

Below is a link to yearone's group of ignition coils. There are about 10-12 different ones with different date codes and I don't know how to read the date codes. Which one would be correct for my June 10, 1971 build?

Also, would the voltage regulator have a "419" or "321" date code?

The 3 digit date code indicates the week of the year (first 2 digits) and the year (last digit), so date code 419 would indicate the 41st week of 1969.
