New guy form Southern Indiana

Hello. A friend told me about this sight, so I thought I would drop in and check things out. I am an avid Road Runner fan and collector. I currently have 4, and always looking. My goal is to have one of each year that they were made. I currently have a '69 '71 '75 and '80. All but the '69 are running and driving cars that are driven at every available chance I can get. I will post some pictures if someone will enlighten me as how to do that.

Welcome to the Nest! So is the '69 a droptop, Droptop?

As for attaching images, when you're adding a post just scroll down a bit and you'll see a tab for "Add Attachment". Click on that, find your image and upload it. Simple...

Yes on the '69 being a droptop. Here are the 75 and 80. I will have to re-size the 71 pictures as they are to big.

Dig the '80... I'm off on a car towing adventure with a buddy tomorrow who's dragging home a '79 360 4 barrel Road Runner. Looking forward to seeing the car.

Guessing the '69 as the droptop was simply deductive reasoning. Let's see pics of it--regardless of how big a project!

Like that TX9 '71 too!

471magnum and I were talking about the car being posted here. That is how the subject of the Road Runner Nest came about. Someone must have posted pictures. I have only had the '71 for about 9 months. I put on the wheels, tires, and a tuff wheel. Just got the car back from having the hood repainted. Not bad just had some issues that I did not like. I am in the process of collecting parts to put the engine bay back to original. It has such a big cam in it that there is no vacume for the power brakes even with an additional canister. Found an original air cleaner at Carlisle last year, and now have a set of valve covers. I have contacted a previous owner and he has the intake, he said he would give it to me just come and pick it up. Looking forward to making the car more streetable so I can drive it more this year. Hopefully by the time that cruising weather gets here all it will have that is not original to the appearance with be the headers and wheels.

I've got the starter for that thing somewhere in my garage as well as some other odds & ends.

That intake Chuck has is a '68 four-holer. Not actually correct for the car.
