Hey guys! I'm new to the forum; due to the fact that I managed to trade my way up to a 1972 Plymouth Roadrunner 340 Cubic Inch 4-Barrel V8. It has white leather interior- orginal- mint. The factory am/fm radio is still in place in the dash bezel and works. I just put in air shocks for a smoother ride. It has a new 727 Auto Tranny. It has a porshe paint tone ($235 a quart). Painted in Upton,MA by Gary Betty of New England Classic Car.
My Story: At 16 I took out 2500 from my bank account (all I had) and I bought a 1992 Pontiac Firebird V6. It was Red with a grey interior and ttops. It wasnt fast enough for me so I bought a 1992 Camaro RS for a V8 parts car. Turns out I loved the RS so much that I sold the 1992 Firebird within 2 weeks and put the money into the Camaro. I had it painted, put a new exhaust system, ect. For the hell of it I threw it on CraigsList to see its value. Well, a man with a 72 Roadrunner emailed me; intrested about it. At the time his 72' had been hit in the front and he didnt have the money to fix it. So we got together and decided to do an even trade (no money involved). Well right when we were signing the papers my Camaro failed to start. They guy left and I was very upset. Me and my dad (ASE,Datsun, and Mopar Master Technician) found out it was just the colant switch. So we switched it and got back together with the guy with the 72'. We traded finally! And I took the car to a friend at a body shop and had all the work done for a very very low price. Now here she is- over a year of having her in my hands. Enjoy.
