Well I had heard about this car a couple of years ago and I finally found it. The owner had this mad look on his face when he opened the door thinking I was going to ask him if it was for sale but I didn't. I told him my name and said that I own one like his only a different color and he then began to talk about his car. He was so surprised that there was another car like his in this part of Arizona. He let me go inspect it and take some pics of it and told me he removed the motor for safe keeping so it wouldn't get stolen. the 18 spline is still there so is the Dana and the pistol grip shifter.....
Anyways, here is the car, another one of the 327 made.... I wish I had it, the color is FE5, it must have been a real looker when it was new....

And before anyone asks, No it is not for sale and by the way he was talking about it, it doesn't sound like it may ever be for sale. He also said I could stop by again if I wanted to see it or look at any part of it...

Cell phone pics and they are not real good so sorry for poor quality.....

If you resize the photobucket images down to 640x480 the full image will display. The Nest's software seems to limit the width of linked images.

Wow Nick, cool find! I wonder if that '70 model go-wing is the original? I know lots of the early built '71's got the '70 wing, but that cars build date is in Feb.'71... Out of the 2,942 '71 GTX's made, only 184 came with the A45 front/rear spoiler package, and considering I own one and have seen 10-15 for sale with the option in the last several months, means they must have had a pretty good survival rate :D
